Claire Zhang is a Senior Associate at Decheng Capital and has been with the firm since July 2025.
Prior to joining Decheng, Claire was an associate at the San Francisco office of Morgan Stanley Healthcare Investment Banking Division, where she worked extensively with global biopharma and life sciences clients to provide advisory on equity, M&A and partnership transactions. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Claire worked at Eight Roads China Ventures as an investment analyst focusing on early-stage investments in innovative healthcare services and digital health.
Claire received her MBA degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where she co-chaired the Healthcare Group. She holds a B.A. In International Politics from Peking University and a Master of Public Policy with a focus on healthcare policy from the University of Chicago on Fulbright Scholarship.
